Data Ai Engineer

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Automation and AI, this role sits within the Technology department and focuses on designing, building and the implementation of Machine Learning algorithms that solve complex business problems. We are looking for someone with the ability to resolve difficult and complex issues and uses data or information to solve problems in a logical manner. This mid-level data AI engineer will be an ASAP start, working within a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
This Mid-level Engineer role requires:

• Interpret and analyse data using a various range of tools and techniques.
• Design and develop scalable solutions using AI tools.
• Develop Machine Learning models to gain insights and provide information around trends and patterns.
• Building data pipelines for machine learning to production.
• Coordinate the project with stakeholders – requirements, solution designing, implementation.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 7 years + of commercial experience in a Data Engineering / ETL or Data Warehouse Development roles.
• 3 + year experience in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI / Machine Learning is must.
• Proficiency with multiple AI tools such as Python and machine learning frameworks.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of Data Vault, ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in DataRobot and Generative AI/ Prompt Engineering is preferable.
• Advanced SQL experience.
• Strong knowledge in AWS/Azure/GCP, Talend, and Snowflake.
