PurposeThe Data Analyst is a pivotal role that leverages specialised data skills to
assist the commercial team in accessing and interpreting information from
databases. By utilising SQL queries and analytics tools, they ensure
efficient data extraction and analysis, supporting strategic decision-making
and contributing to the organization's financial health and operational
efficiency.Day to day you'll be…

• Extract, transform, and validate data from diverse

databases * Ensure the integrity and consistency of data across systems.

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports

and dashboards that deliver value-added insights and support our strategic
objectives * Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand data and how it drives value

• Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to answer business questions and drive decisions
• Develop and optimize SQL scripts for more efficient data processing, contributing to our overall data management efficiency
• Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and leverage data analytical tools to recommend improvements to enhance productivity
• Proactively manage and analyse data across platforms, identifying errors or anomalies. Develop, recommend, and implement robust processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability for reporting purposes.

We'd love to hear from you if you have…

• 2+ years' experience in a similar Data Analyst role
• A degree in IT/Business/Commerce
• A high level of ownership and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to be a hands-on team player and are comfortable working cross functions in a business with high transactional volumes
• Proven proficiency in SQL, Power Query, Power BI and knowledge of Databricks, Azure cloud
