This role sits in the Unpacked by Flybuys team.
Unpacked by Flybuys help brands speak to their customers by opening the door to the real-life behaviours and shopping habits of Australian households, so they can make better media decisions.
Unpacked by Flybuys is to transition to Coles 360 and become part of its retail media business as of 1 July.
Your Role:
- Delivering ongoing campaign analysis for our clients
- Discovering and articulating insights surrounding customer purchasing behaviour and product selection
- Owning key stakeholder relationships and delivery of high-quality data products

- Contribute to a high performing & highly engaged and effective team by tapping into their collective strengths & sharing best practice.
- Develop domain knowledge in digital advertising space, including the ability to understand and weigh privacy and security risks against commercial considerations; gain knowledge and expertise in digital advertising measurement, retail consumer insights and campaign analytics.
- Approach projects with a product and growth mindset, adopt agile practices to iterate on work to receive frequent and early feedback.
- Build intuition around prioritising work and working effectively including when to seek guidance.
Your Experience:
- Tertiary qualified in Business, Mathematics or Science discipline.
- Analytics professional with a proven track record. I.e. At least 1 year of experience in a marketing or product data role
- Solid understanding of SQL for analysis and data transformation
- Strong foundation with an analytics dynamic programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Julia)
- Experience with large, complex data sets.
- Experience with analytical tools - data extraction, data exploration and analysis, data visualisation.
- Great written and verbal communication skills with an ability of distilling complex concepts into easy to understand presentations.
- Are self-driven and can work autonomously against delivery targets
- Hands-on experience using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Mode, Shiny/Dash) (desirable)
- Great influencing and storytelling skills and the ability to navigate internal and external organisations to build and leverage relationships (desirable)
- Experience of working within large, complex, cross functional projects (desirable)
- Experience with analytics engineering and data pipelines would be advantageous (desirable)
