A great opportunity for a Data Analytics Engineer, in the Data Decision Science team, you will work in a cross-functional data, commercial, strategy and technology team to build new data products and insights in our property marketplace. You will carry out design, implement, deploy, test and maintain data pipelines. Moreover conducting data analysis, maintaining metrics and visualising data is part of the main areas.

The ideal candidate will…
Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for developing new or enhancing current data models. Expecting to employ bespoke practices to design, implement and deliver clean datasets that fits the evolving needs of business.
Ability to properly communicate with stakeholders and translate business requirements to Data Analytics problem definition.
You will work directly with data decision science teams, ML and data engineers as well as business users from Commercial, Strategy, Marketing, Product and Tech. You have also demonstrated a track record in conceptualising and deploying similar projects that have delivered real business results.
Ability to plan and handle project execution.
Present information using data visualisation techniques (preferably Tableau).
Good Understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
You keep up to date with the latest research, trends and best practices in Data Analytics Engineering.
Attributes
Data processing and analytics skills such as data visualisation, data modelling, data cleaning and validations.
3 to 5 years of relevant commercial experience with a detailed understanding of scoping, designing, implementing and deploying data pipelines using orchestration tools preferably Airflow and DBT.
Proven experience of building insightful datasets.
Excellent in SQL.
Proficient in applying version control, testing and similar concepts to prepare new data models.
Proficient in code development with Python (Scala or Java is a plus). Knowledge of python data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, etc is a plus.
Proficient in data visualisations (Preferably Tableau)
Experienced working with massive amounts of user behaviour data is a plus.
Experience working with Docker, GitHub actions, AWS, GCP or Azure ecosystem with strong preference for AWS.
Knowledge of Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Statistics, Calculus and Optimization is a plus.
Skills in Apache Spark or MapReduce are plus.
