About the Role
As a Data & Analytics Developer in our Azure environment for a 12-month period, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights while utilising the scalability and power of Azure services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights to stakeholders. Your proficiency in data modelling, data visualisation, and Azure services will be essential in driving data-driven decision-making within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use your expertise in Power BI to provide effective data visualisation and communication
- Understand requirements and work with stakeholders to provide high quality deliverables.
- Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop
- Harness the scalability of Azure for large datasets
- Create and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions
About you?
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to understand changing business dynamics, and build strong relationships with non-technical stakeholders to create Power BI dashboard that help drive business strategy. You’ll have a good understanding of leveraging the data sources, with hands-on experience in Databricks being critical for your success.
You’ll also:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, ideally in an Azure environment.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and retrieval within Azure.
