Primary Objective of the position:
- Provide support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of key management systems (Environment, Drinking Water, Quality and Referrable Dam Safety) within the Cairns Infrastructure and Assets Directorate of Cairns Regional Council.
- Assist stakeholders to create/enhance existing operational process documentation and flowcharts.
- Support the continuous improvement to quality data capture, processing, and information management.
- Deliver education and training to support quality data capture and Document control applicable to the management systems.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Extensive demonstrated experience in a similar technical support role.
- A "C" Class Queensland Driver's Licence.
- Knowledge of or ability to acquire technical understanding of environmental, drinking water, quality and referrable dam safety management systems to prepare required templates, flowcharts, processes, procedures and other documentation to a high standard.
- Demonstrated experience in development, implementation, maintenance, review and continual improvement associated with processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated superior administrative, time management and organisational skills.
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office applications, and knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of bespoke software applications to create and update templates to support the unit.
- Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of intranet and/or SharePoint applications to assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of unit information.
- Ability to organise and deliver training packages to target groups within the Cairns Infrastructure and Assets Directorate.
