AddressRole the PM will perform:
- Analyse, evaluate, and deploy technology solutions aligned with business objectives, priorities, and operational challenges, with a focus on leveraging cloud capabilities to enhance the organization's cloud hosting platform.
- Own full project life cycle including establish detailed project scope, define engagement milestones, monitor project execution, assess risk, drive activities, measure success, etc. in process, people, and/or technology delivery methodologies.
- Assess diverse business requirements across units, identify synergies, and strategically manage implementation. Ensure projects adhere to professional standards and comply with policies, standards, and procedures
- Provide leadership at both team and senior levels, navigating issues and solutions within and across divisions, organisational boundaries, and with client groups and stakeholders.
- Implement appropriate delivery frameworks/methodologies for cloud projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and the organization's cloud strategy.
- Oversee and manage external cloud vendors as per contractual agreements, including support in the RFT process, analysis, project tracking, relationship management, and deliverables monitoring and reporting.
- SELECTION CRITERIA (To be successful in this role, the candidate will have):
- Prior experience in leading and managing end to end major Data Center Migration Program.
- Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, with in-depth knowledge of services such as CloudWatch, EC2, Azure Monitor, Data and SQL Database, and experience in delivering cloud capabilities and enhancing cloud hosting platforms.
- Over 10 years of extensive Project Management experience, specializing in technology implementation projects, with a strong focus on Data Center migration
- Ability to utilize suitable project methodologies such as Agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches, alongside relevant tools and reporting mechanisms.
- Proven record of managing cloud implementations, including cloud migration, cloud security, and cloud integration projects, employing established project management processes and frameworks for over 4 years.
- Proficiency in various project management tools, including MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and cloud-specific tools and platforms.
- Previous experience as a Scrum Master and/or Certification/Professional Scrum Master designation is a plus, with experience in applying Agile methodologies to cloud projects.
- Highly organized, dynamic, and naturally curious self-starter with a proactive approach to challenges, particularly in the context of cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative abilities, with the ability to navigate complex cloud environments and stakeholder requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting detailed emails, leading engaging whiteboard discussions with customers/stakeholders, and delivering technical presentations on cloud solutions and architectures.
