AddressOur State Government client is looking for Senior PM with invested experience in largescale government Data Centre Migration programs. The project is aimed at enhancing our client's entire Data Centre ecosystem. This initiative aims to enhance infrastructure, operational effectiveness, and the reliability of critical systems that support front-line operations.
The ideal resource will have the following skillsets:
- Experience with largescale government Data Centre Migration/s.
- Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, with in-depth knowledge of services such as CloudWatch, EC2, Azure Monitor, Data and SQL Database, and experience in delivering cloud capabilities and enhancing cloud hosting platforms.
- Over 10 years of extensive Project Management experience, specializing in technology implementation projects, with a strong focus on cloud migration and cloud infrastructure projects, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Ability to utilize suitable project methodologies such as Agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches, alongside relevant tools and reporting mechanisms. While primarily operating within an Agile framework, prioritize methodologies that align with business objectives and cloud strategy. Adopt a pragmatic stance, selecting and implementing methodologies based on the specific requirements and characteristics of the cloud project.
- Proven record of managing cloud implementations, including cloud migration, cloud security, and cloud integration projects, employing established project management processes and frameworks for over 4 years.
- Proficiency in various project management tools, including MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and cloud-specific tools and platforms.
- Highly organized, dynamic, and naturally curious self-starter with a proactive approach to challenges, particularly in the context of cloud transformation initiatives.
- Capable of managing multiple cloud-related tasks within a collaborative environment effectively.
- Preferred experience in Government organization, with an understanding of cloud governance, compliance, and security requirements in the public sector.
