EVENT ROOM SETS SUPERVISOR

Full Time 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Events Team.  You will be responsible for coordinating the set-up of rooms as per our clients' requests.  You will work across a variety of events including exhibitions, large corporate conferences, and live events.  

• Ensure that all room set-ups for all events are delivered in accordance with client requirements.
  
• Supervise team members to ensure schedules are maintained, and teams work effectively and efficiently to achieve set goals.
  
• Manage the care of sets equipment and resources to ensure they are working in order. 
  
• Coordinate and deliver the most up to date set-up, turn-around requirements based on event briefings.

• You will hold a valid Forklift licence (or be willing and able to obtain a licence), and currently hold a valid a QLD driver's licence. 
  
• You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role within a hotel, conference facility or event management, or exhibition organization.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to team results.
  
• You will be committed to living and working in Cairns.
• Safety will be extremely important to you.
