Data Engineer required in Wollongong - Hybrid Working - Exciting tech
Your new organisation:
We are currently partnering with an organisation within the education sector based in Wollongong, NSW.

Your new role:
The Data Engineer will be responsible for maturing data and analytics capabilities through the maintenance & uplift of a data warehouse, as well as analysing data and building reports. In addition to this, the organisation are building an AI capability and you will have a chance to work on these tools.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualifications in IT and/or data & analytics
- Strong understanding of SQL Server data warehousing
- Advanced SQL skills
- Strong Python knowledge
- Previous experience with reporting and visualisation in Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Excellent communication skills
Desired, but not essential:
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about AI technologies
- Previous experience working within the education sector
