Data Engineer (Aws Databricks) * 4

Ayan Infotech has an urgent need for 4 Data Engineers to take up an initial 12-month contract for a Data Lakehouse project in Melbourne, CBD.
The work environment is supportive of a hybrid work model and a highly attractive rate is on offer - $1000 or above relevant to experience!
Experience needed:

• Design, development and testing of Data Pipes
• Experience writing production quality code to create data products
• Applied knowledge of Agile delivery methodology
• From Database point of view knowledge of S3 and Hive is mandatory and anyone from Dynamo, Redshift or Aurora
• Experience with Databricks Lakehouse on AWS
• Intermediate knowledge/function with:
• Languages; SQL, Python, shell scripting
• AWS query; Athena
• AWS ETL; Glue, EMR
• AWS database; Dynamo, S3, Hive, Redshift, Aurora
• AWS service; Lambda, SNS, SQS
• Scheduling; Control-M, AutoSys
• CICD Process; Bamboo, Git
• Experience writing production quality code to create data products
• Applied knowledge of Agile delivery methodology
• From Database point of view knowledge of S3 and Hive is mandatory and anyone from Dynamo, Redshift or Aurora.

This contract will provide the opportunity to work in a large-scale enterprise IT environment with a highly experience and competent global IT delivery team. Our client invests billions of dollars in their IT environment, which will allow the contractor to work with the latest releases to what technology offers.
I have been told that the work is ongoing and that there is strong potential for the contract to be extended for another 12-months.
