About the Role
The Senior Data Analyst supports the University's Smart Campus initiative by delivering analytics and modeling based on data from various sources. They collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and insights, maintain relationships with customers and internal analysts, and provide technical leadership to the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop data models and ensure performance optimisation and cost efficiency within the data stack
• Enhance forecasting models and maintain data standards and documentation for team accessibility
• Foster collaboration with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and provide leadership and mentoring to junior analysts

Who we are looking for
You will have experience in business requirements analysis and specification in complex organisations and be adept at delivering detailed user specifications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with analytical problem-solving abilities and a capacity to evaluate emerging technologies for solution integration.

You will also have:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a data-related field of study
• Experience with Node.JS and Python languages
• Experience with AWS technologies including (but not limited to) DynamoDb, RDS, Glue/Athena, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, Cloudformation

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
