The Strategy, Data and Analytics team operate as an internal centre of expertise for data and analytics. Working closely with various business units, we ensure seamless integration and effective utilization of data for strategic decision-making. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in this mission, leading the delivery and management of resilient data pipelines and working with key business stakeholders to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that power our organizational growth. About you
As a Data Engineer at Hostplus, you are a dynamic professional with a passion for delivering robust data integration solutions to meet the data needs of a fast-growing organisation.
Some of the key capabilities and skills the successful candidate will possess:
- Proficient in designing, developing and maintaining data integration solutions
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Function Apps.
- Experience developing and maintaining with SOAP & REST API pipelines
- Skilled in data architecture, modeling, and analysis for optimal performance
- Competent in SQL, Python, pySpark, and data & analytics applications such as SQL Server Management Studio and Azure Data Studio
- Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze large, complex datasets
- Sound knowledge of data governance principles and practices
- Experience in creating and managing business intelligence reports and dashboards
- Effective stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
- Ability to present complex information clearly and logically
- Preferably experienced in the superannuation industry and Snowflake environment
- Advantageous to have familiarity with Adobe Analytics
