Sirius Technology is partnering with a highly reputable organisation who want to employ a skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic, agile and transformating team. In this role, you'll be using your skills, knowledge and expertise to enhance efficiency and customer experiences through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of our organisation's data landscape, IT/business objectives, and success metrics to design cloud-based data architectures.
- Data Integration and Maintenance through the creation of new data pipelines and monitoring existing ones
- Develop automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading to streamline operations and minimise errors.
- Utilise BI tools, particularly Power BI or QlikSense, to provide valuable data insights.
- Hands-on management of SQL server and databases.
- Experience working with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Warehouse.
- Experience in utilising BI solutions for reporting, with a focus on Power BI.
- Background in the full solution delivery lifecycle, from design to implementation.
- Strong analytical skills to manipulate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel skills.
