Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Temporary Data Entry Specialist to join the team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of large data sets within the payroll function, primarily using Excel.
This role is being offered on a 4 week temporary assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify large data sets in Excel for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter data accurately into our database from various sources.
- Identify and correct Data Entry errors, and inconsistencies.
- Organise and maintain files and records for efficient retrieval and use.
- Assist in data analysis and report generation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
- Proven experience in Data Entry and working with large data sets.
- Prior experience in Payroll or HR with an understanding of employment agreements would be well regarded, although not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
