Cartology delivers data-led marketing solutions, putting insights and customers at the heart of everything we do.We are currently in a scale-up phase with significant further growth ahead, Cartology leverages the best of the Woolworths group expertise while creating its own distinct offering and culture.The Data Governance Lead - Cartology, plays a key leadership role managing the relationship between Cartology and Group Data Management, as well as coordinating the required engagement and alignment across all the Cartology BUs.The key purpose of the role is to develop, build, drive and implement the delivery of Data Governance functions across Cartology. Key to the success of this role is the ability to drive change in our Data Governance practices across Cartology through a structured and planned change management strategy, training and awareness and embedding of key artefacts in ways of working.What you'll experienceDevelop your career in an organisation that gives you the time and space to think creatively and strategicallyFeel supported and empowered by your leadersA truly unique opportunity to be involved in creating, shaping and leading the new retail media industry.A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline - with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.What you'll doCritical leadership role to help Cartology harness the power of data and help meet governance and data management needs of broader financial stakeholders.Set the strategic direction for Data Governance uplift across CartologyManaging and working with a team to deliver key Data Governance capabilities to ensure privacy risks are effectively understood and managed responsibleDelivering key areas of our Data Governance Framework including decision making processes and escalation pathways, roles and responsibilities, associated training and awareness activities and communications to embed across Cartology.Development of key policies, procedures and guidelines for Data GovernanceEstablish Data Governance function within Cartology to provide subject matter expertise and support for Data Risk Management initiativesDesign and lead Development of and embedding Data Governance at Cartology aligned to Group strategySupporting the development of general training programs and their ongoing enhancementSupporting the development of specialised and tailored training programs and their ongoing enhancementConsultation and guidance to roll out key capabilities including training, change management activities, communications as they relate to particular programs of work across the Privacy & Customer Trust COE (e.g.PIA, Privacy by Design and other initiatives)What you'll bring5-10 years experience in Data Governance fieldIAPP, DAMA certification or other related studies in privacy, governance, ethicsProficient knowledge of Data Governance methodologiesExperience in PIA methodologies and privacy by designAgile ways of working experienceStakeholder ManagementStrategy DevelopmentManagement and Leadership experienceTertiary qualifications in a relevant field including Business, Law, Technology, Privacy or relatedEveryone belongs at Woolworths GroupDiversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
