Our client is a leading name within the professional services industry. They have a proven track record of success and an enviable client list in to which they have developed strong relationships. They are looking to strengthen their already high performing team with the addition of a newly created Data Governance Specialist position.
The Role:
As a valued member of the organization, you will play a key role in designing and driving the Data Governance for an impressive and growing list of clients within the financial services, healthcare and retail industries. You will partner with senior leaders across a selection of industry leading enterprises. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals and engineers to design and implement data solutions that align with business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Develop and implement Data Governance policies, procedures, and standards aligned with Australian regulatory requirements.
- Configure and maintain Collibra to support Data Governance processes and workflows.
- Develop and implement Data Governance policies, procedures, and standards aligned with Australian regulatory requirements, leveraging Collibra functionalities. Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and establish effective Data Governance practices.
- Communicate Data Governance policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders and ensure awareness and adherence.
- Implement and manage data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across the organization.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to implement and monitor data security measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian data protection laws, industry standards and organizational policies
- You will have worked in the consulting and advisory space
- Proven experience in Data Governance, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Collibra.
- You will have worked in enterprise level environment
- Hands-on experience with data technologies and cloud platforms, ideally GCP, is required.
- Possess strong business acumen with an ability to engage, collaborate and influence people across different business units and stakeholders and at all levels
- $1000 - $1200 per day
