About the Role
As a Senior Data Governance Specialist, you will play a vital role in building, implementing and driving the Data Governance framework and program across the organisation on a 6-month daily rate contract.
Duties
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all Data Governance related details
- Liaise and take guidance from Leadership to develop and maintain policies and procedures for Data Governance.
- Implement education programs to drive Data Governance awareness across the organisation.
- Update and implement a robust Data Governance Framework and Information Management Policy/Standards based on DAMA-DMBOK.
- Provide reports on the Data Governance Framework and Data Governance Programs or Activity.
Skills & Experience
- Previous Commercial experience in a Data Governance role.
- Extensive Data experience in large, complex environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging and communicating with Senior Leadership and Executives
- Solid grasp of core Data Governance and information management fundamentals and concepts, including DAMA-DMBOK.
- Ability to communicate complex Technical information to non-Technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to a range of diverse technologies, platforms and environments.
