We are seeking a skilled Data Management Officer to join a significant government agency's Data & Analytics (D&A) team. This role is crucial for implementing and managing a modern Data Management framework that supports the agency's transformation into a data-driven Intelligent Enterprise. The Data Management Officer will be instrumental in enhancing data governance, ensuring data quality, and supporting the development of sophisticated data solutions.
Key Duties:
- Implement and manage a contemporary cloud data pattern that supports the agency’s increasing data volumes and types, aligning with rapidly evolving business requirements.
- Contribute to the introduction of new Data and Analytics products and services, focusing on enhancing data governance and the accuracy of data-driven decisions.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of D&A solutions, ensuring they are scalable, extensible, and secure.
- Collaborate with various teams to improve integration of data across business functions, enhancing the effectiveness of tax and superannuation information systems.
Criteria:
- Proven experience in Data Management within a complex IT environment, particularly in developing and managing large-scale data frameworks and governance models.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data governance tools and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Government legislation and policies.
