What does the role involve?
This role will have you working on the gaps that have been identified for Caritas Oceania members in relation to Data Protection and Data Management.
Key objectives will include (but not limited to):
- Develop and support the implementation of ICT Management Policy and Procedures, including data protection, compliant with CIMS and local legislation.
- Work with leadership and relevant staff to upgrade ICT systems so the organisation can operate with professionalism and maintain institutional knowledge.
- Develop and deliver basic training modules on newly implemented systems.
- Identify sustainable approach for ongoing IT support.
Who are we looking for?
For this 7-day consultancy role, we are seeking a highly organised and dynamic individual, who is committed to making a difference in the world. The successful candidate will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Information Technology and Systems or similar.
- Extensive experience in the development of ICT management, systems, procedures and policies as well as providing training relating to improving ICT management practices.
- Knowledge of and experience working in the Pacific Region.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including in cross-cultural contexts.

- Proposed methodology and timings for each phase of the consultation process and your rates.

- An indication of your availability to complete the consultancy within the specified timeframe.
Expressions of Interest should be submitted by 5:00pm (AEDT) 15th March 2024. EOIs will be reviewed on a rolling basis and the position may be filled prior to the close date if a suitable candidate is found.
