About your new role 

As a Data Migration Lead you are responsible for providing technical design and implementation of the data profiling, data quality and the extract, transformation and load (ETL) requirements. You will also be responsible for delivery of the technical specifications of the data extract, transformation and load requirements and ensuring that the business mapping of the requirements from the source to the target data platforms is completed. 

What you bring to your new role 

You will have experience in data analysis consultancy services whilst ensuring alignment with enterprise application, development and infrastructure architectural standards and corporate objectives. You Conduct data analysis activities including data assessment, data profiling, data cleansing, data remediation, data extract and transformation and data reconciliation, conceptual modelling and deliver in a timely manner, the required artefacts for each phase of analysis. 

You have an eye of continuous improvement and willingness to engage daily with a range of stakeholders. 

To succeed in the role, ideally you will have:   

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience and substantial knowledge in provision of data analysis migration services in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation.  
  • Proven experience gained within a multi-disciplinary function including the ability to provide and seek expert advice, coordinate and manage data analysis activities and resources effectively to achieve work goals to meet deadlines and commitments, and establish and monitor outcomes that meet customer and organisational requirements. 
  • Experience/knowledge of the application of ICT in local government.
