Reporting directly to the Project Manager – Operations, your role as Data Specialist will be pivotal in supporting HELP’s corporate, operational and executive teams. This includes but is not limited to providing data analytics expert support to stakeholders across the business providing aligned, efficient, responsive and best-practice internal services that support excellence in service delivery, enables growth and optimises the ideal customer journey. More specifically you will:
- Identify data sources, collect data and source missing data
- Data validation and data governance improvement
- Collaborative centralised organisational reporting design and deployment
- Develop, implement and maintain databases
- Analyse data to enable robust business decision making
- Prepare reports for operational, executive and project team
- Create visualisations of data in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with the ICT department in systems enhancement projects an ICT transformational journey
What you need to be successful:
This role is instrumental in helping the business to make data driven informed decisions. To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
- Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or similar
- 5+ years’ experience as a senior data analyst
- Advance understanding of databases such as SQL server
- Reporting & data visualisation tools expert such as Yellowfin, PowerBI and Tableau.
- Understanding of ETL framework and ETL tools including Microsoft SSIS and Azure data factory.
- Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centred projects.
- Capacity to foster a healthy, stimulating work environment that frequently harnesses teamwork.
