Our Cancer Trials Unit (CTU) is dedicated to bringing novel therapies through clinical trials to the cancer patients of WA and due to a recent re-structure, we now have a newly created role for a Database Administrator to join the team.Based at our offices in Nedlands, this is an exciting opportunity to join an internationally recognised organisation that makes a difference.Job DescriptionYour Role in our FutureReporting to the Regulatory Training and Data Compliance Lead, you will facilitate the safe and effective conduct of clinical trails by ensuring all CTU related data is stored securely and optimally within the required standards and guidelines to support clinical trial activity. You will be exposed to a wide range of clinical trials and have the opportunity to collaborate with different teams across the organisation expanding your understanding of clinical trials.A full list of responsibilities can be found in the however some of your duties will include;
- Support the development and maintenance of eSource databases and electronic source forms.
- Ensure data practices comply with privacy regulation and ethical requirements and commitments.
- Support the development and maintenance of databases and applications for data entry.
- Provide assistance in preparing for external client audits or regulatory inspections of Linear investigators, studies, processes, systems and/or facilities.
- Work with the wider CTU team to ensure that breaches of guidelines and regulatory requirements are identified and addressed.
- Experience working with Electronic Data Forms and Databases.
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent organisational skills with the willingness to accept changes in priorities as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work within guidelines and procedures; understand the importance of standards and regulations.
