The Role:
Work closely with a dedicated team supporting the installation, maintenance and repair for all site electrical and control systems. Based at one of our iconic sites, you will enjoy a supportive and collaborative culture!
The shift times are:
- Day shift 5.45am – 2.15pm
- Afternoon 2.00pm – 10.15pm
We are open to applicants who are looking for an apprenticeship, graduates, and applicants who have many years of experience in industry. We have several different opportunities for all!
Responsibilities:
- Effectively prioritise activities, providing a knowledgeable and timely service.
- Manage third party outsourcing.
- Collaborate with maintenance fitters to fault find, diagnose and restore performance of manufacturing, packing and building equipment.
- Action mechanical work such as machine product changes, as required.
- Maintain up to date electrical drawing records.
- Look for efficiencies and ways to continuously improve our ways of operating.
About You:
Your technical knowledge and experience coupled with your people skills will ensure your success in this role. You will have:
- Proven diagnostic, problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Experience with fixed plant electrical and engineering maintenance practices.
- Sound computer skills including, PLCs, SCADA and CMMS systems.
- Desire to grow and develop your skills and career.
- Confidence to work autonomously as well as within a team.
- A strong service orientation, looking to deliver high quality outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
- Ability to modify, replace and commission electrical equipment within a GMP environment.
- Extensive knowledge about fillers, closers, packaging equipment, palletisers and conveyor systems.
- Experience with automation or robotics is preferable.
- Computer skills (Microsoft suite, computerized maintenance management system).
- Strong problem-solving analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Motivated worker with good attitude towards peers.
Qualifications:
- Electrotechnology Cert III.
Whist not mandatory the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Forklift license.
- Restricted electrical license.
- Confined space entry license.
- White card certificate.
