About The Role
As a result of continued growth and success we are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic DC Warehouse Inventory Manager. Working at our brand-new state of the art Milwaukee Tool Distribution Centre (DC) situated at Melbourne Airport you will lead and coach the Inventory Team ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient picking of orders delivering warehouse operational excellence at world class standards.
Reporting directly to the DC Manager your day-to-day duties will include:
- Lead, support and train the Inventory team to ensure all product master data is accurate, compliant and up to date in the WMS.
- Ensure products/SKUs are slotted to maintain pick accuracy to minimise inventory loss, and achieve high customer satisfaction
- Report daily/weekly/monthly as appropriate on agreed KPI measures and analysis to ensure all targets are exceeded
- Lead the team to adhere to Work Health and Safety standards at all times in line with Company WHS policies and procedures.
- Support the DC Team Managers to achieve DIFOT and a great Customer Experience
- Assist the Inventory team to fix any inventory issues that are preventing the efficient processing and completion of pick and despatch of orders.
- Continually train and develop the picking, packing and replenishment teams in the most up to date processes and procedures identifying areas for improvement.
- Report Daily /Weekly/Monthly on Inventory accuracy report for site staff distribution
- Review and Follow up on Picking, Put-away and Replenishment KPI's including Quality Assurance
About YOU
You have a passion for analysing data driven insights and driving growth through excellent inventory management and have a proven track record in a similar role within a dynamic, fast paced, DC environment.

- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and continuous improvement
- Experienced in picking/replenishment within a large (30,000 plus pallet) warehouse, leading a team of 10+
- Minimum 3 years' experience using complex WMS for Inventory management of at least 3000 SKUs
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Able to travel to our DC in NSW at times to assist with transition to Vic DC
