Autosports Group is a large, listed retail automotive group representing the world’s greatest prestige and luxury automotive brands. Currently we have over 1800 employees across 55 Dealerships in NSW, QLD, VIC and NZ.
We are seeking a high performing, experienced automotive leader for our Volvo dealerships in NSW which are based at Five Dock, Parramatta and Rushcutters Bay.
As a business operated by Australia’s most progressive automotive group – Autosports Group, the role of Dealer Principal at Volvo Cars is a key appointment within the Groups senior management team. To be considered for this key hands-on leadership role, you must have a history of success in the luxury segment in Automotive in Australia, be at the very top of your field and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the dealership
- Achieving and exceeding all major budget targets
- Leading, developing and coaching staff including change management, team building and achieving sales targets
- Working as part of a larger dealership network and within an ASX Listed company
- Achieve KPI targets set by the company and manufacturer
- Set a clear direction and vision for the business
- Create & maintain a positive, effective & safe working environment for customers & staff
Skills & experience:
- Must have proven experience in either a General Manager or Dealer Principal position with proven success in all key areas of responsibility.
- Impeccable people management skills.
- Thorough understanding of commercial and financial business management.
- Ability to build mutually respectful & productive relationships with OEM brand partners
- Natural mentoring and leadership skills
