We are seeking a Junior Collections Officer to work in a full time role. We have an office in the CBD but our NSW team now works from home with team catch ups held every few weeks.
The right candidate must be highly motivated, able to work unsupervised, and possess strong negotiation & written skills.
Prior experience in Debt Collection is not required. On the job training will be provided in relation to our system & collection processes.
The role will include:- Management of own client database
- Management of multiple accounts for delinquency and Debt Collection efforts
- Action accounts in a timely manner and manage own work queue
- Investigate and resolve complaints on incorrect Debt Collection attempts
- Issuing of demand letters
- Negotiate with debtors regarding payments and payment arrangements
- Provide guidance and support to clients on recovery of accounts
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate skills using MS Office and database software
- Demonstrated skill in negotiating and resolving conflicts
- Ability to multi-task and manage your clients and their files
- Must possess strong customer service skills
