As a Defects Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and quantifying defects or issues within completed projects. Description

• Maximizing sales opportunities and enhancing conversion rates with existing clientele by promptly delivering quotes sourced from field technician reports on defects and recommended repairs.
• Managing the entire process from initial client outreach to initiating quotes and ensuring timely follow-up to secure deals.
• Aggregating incoming service reports, drawings, and data as needed to ensure accurate quotations.
• Building relationships and acquiring quotes from subcontractors for services not provided in-house, such as Compartmentation and Door repairs.
• Generating estimates using handheld data and estimating tools, and coordinating with technicians and clients to clarify project scopes when necessary.
• Drafting and dispatching quotation letters to customers, and ensuring confirmation of delivery and receipt through follow-up communication.

Profile

• Strong experience in sales or customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Sound computing skills, including MS word, Excel and Outlook
• CRM experience (i.e., Salesforce.com) is preferred.
• Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Resident (PR).
• Ability to undergo a National Police Check
