ABOUT THE ROLE
- Casual Positions
- Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli concession customers by answering questions attentively, making recommendations, providing samples and responding to requests
- Slicing, weighing, packaging and pricing deli meats with correct PLU’s
- Updating and refreshing displays, cases and other customer facing areas to ensure a visually full offering and that new items and promotions are showcased
- Assist in conducting accurate stocktakes and stock ordering, ensuring sufficient stock to be always available and accurately recording daily wastage
- Complete deli concession opening and closing procedures, paying close attention to sanitation
- Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment and floors, rubbish removal and inspecting equipment for good working order
- Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
- Maintain the work area and equipment throughout the working day in a hygienic and safe condition, so as to avoid cross contamination of raw food stuffs with ready to eat food stuffs and nut products
- Exceed expectations of customers every time by providing responsive, exceptional service by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples and responding to requests.
