Delivery Lead

Role Title: Delivery Lead
Duration: Initial 3 Months + possible extensions
Pay: $86.32 per hour + Super
Location: Wollongong / WFH

Exciting opportunity to join a government organisation among a versatile technology transformation that will transform how services are provided to people across NSW. This role is suitable for Project Managers who have demonstrated experience in technology service delivery and problem management. This role is based in Wollongong however does offer flexible work from home arrangements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for driving continuous improvement in IT services by identifying trends and patterns in problems and incidents and proactively implementing changes to prevent future issues
• Participate in developing communication plans for activation to communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, affected users, and IT staff on problem resolutions
• Develop and maintain a system to prioritise IT problems based on their impact on the business and the criticality of affected systems
• Managing agile delivery such as: sprint planning, releases etc.

Essential Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or related field and/or equivalent relevant industry knowledge and experience
• Strong knowledge of IT service management practices such as ITIL
• Experience running one or multiple agile delivery squads as Delivery Lead
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within the public sector, NFP or NGO is highly desirable
