Welcome to Moorebank 

Construction is now well underway for our new Moorebank NDC (MoNDC). Located in Moorebank NSW, MoNDC is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 46,000 sqm facility - equivalent to almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).  This will strengthen Primary Connect’s national supply chain and service of more than 1,000 Woolworths Supermarkets across Australia.

What you’ll do

You’ll be joining our team as the Moorebank NDC Transition Delivery Lead, reporting directly to the Head of NSW Network Transformation. This critical role will be instrumental in orchestrating a seamless transition from our current NDC network to the state-of-the-art Moorebank facility.

  • Managing the transition execution and progress: challenging activities, conducting reviews, and ensuring performance meets requirements.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks: actively reviewing risks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Oversee change management assessing impacts, identifying bottlenecks, and developing improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including the Supermarket teams, Store Transition Manager, Customer Hub, and Primary Connect+ teams.
  • Support process improvement, Identifying and addressing improvement opportunities for transition and end-state processes.
  • Developing and maintaining plans for potential changes to the transition plan.

What you’ll bring

  • You’ll bring hands-on experience gained within supply chain or manufacturing, including replenishment, transport, and DC operations.
  • Communication and report writing skills, able to create and deliver with impact to Senior leadership  
  • Transformational leadership, proven experience leading large-scale transformations.
  • Purposeful and forward-thinking, able to move easily between thinking strategically and tactically.
  • Influencing  & negotiation skills,  able to effectively negotiate with and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to, thrive under pressure & remain resilient, solve problems, and maintain ownership & accountability.
  • Experience in automation and/or manufacturing is highly desirable however not essential
