AddressWe are seeking a Delivery Manager to facilitate the transition of systems to the cloud for improved cost optimization, availability, and reliability. The role involves managing the technical elements of the migration program, including planning, executing, and monitoring progress.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate and partner with business units, clients, development teams, and platform teams to migrate ecosystems to the AWS Cloud Platform
- Balance "lift and shift" goals with architectural improvements, focusing on security, reliability, and maintainability
- Work closely with clients and business unit managers to identify and agree on the scope and goals of migration
- Cooperate with developers and designers to prioritize, plan, and execute migration
- Work with teams to create timelines, manage scope creep, and eliminate blockers
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with team and partners to align with enterprise standards and best practices
- Provide transparency via governance reporting, artifact management, and recurring reviews
- Continuously improve migration processes by sharing knowledge with the DM community and through Confluence space updates
- 2+ years of delivery management experience with extensive cloud migration experience (preferably AWS)
- 3+ years of cloud experience (real experience in Data migration in the cloud, or "lift and shift" migration)
- Experience in leading Cloud Migration or Cloud Transformation projects
- Ability to articulate/describe cloud architecture
