Job Description: As a
Delivery Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the implementation of the data engineering pipeline for deployment. You will work closely with the project team and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of delivering data-oriented projects, including coding work, and excel in communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities:- Ensure delivery of project outcomes, managing scope, schedules, quality, and budgets.
- Coordinate teams to facilitate project delivery and transition.
- Oversee the development of project documentation and report progress on delivery.
- Manage relationships and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, resolving obstacles through collaboration, problem-solving, and negotiation.
- Identify and manage risks, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Conduct project reviews and generate detailed reports for executive staff.
Skills Required:- Proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
- Proficiency in multitasking and managing various project elements simultaneously.
- Leadership capabilities to guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with code repositories (e.g., DevOps).
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Establishment and maintenance of strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering presentations.
- Understanding of Prince2, PMBOK, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience as a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager or as a member of an agile team.
