Job description

About us

Tiimely is a platform technology company and digital lender revolutionising financial service processes to make them faster, smarter and simpler for consumers and businesses in Australia. Tiimely strengthens its B2B offering with a B2C ‘proving ground’, using AI-driven proprietary technology and over five years of data to reimagine the customer experience and credit underwriting process.

Their solutions are built for lenders, fintechs, consumer brands and mortgage brokers with their technology licensed by 17 partners across SaaS, API and white-label PaaS products. The white-label platform powers two of the largest six banks in Australia. In February and March 2023, more than $2bn applications were processed through the platform via PaaS customers.

The position

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Delivery Manager will coordinate the program backlog and related activities to support key stakeholders and ensure the successful delivery of initiatives according to the program schedule.

You will partner and coordinate with stakeholders across the business as well as proactively communicate the progress of initiatives, continuously monitor and adapt delivery planning to bring value to our customers. While adhering to the best practices of Agile SAFe, you will look to understand our development and delivery processes to facilitate coordination across multiple teams.

Success in this role will require understanding our fintech business and the problems we are solving for the industry. Changing scope/priorities, maturing processes and a fast-paced environment should energise you and is crucial for you to navigate this iterative, agile approach and directly contribute to Tiimely’s success.

Your other responsibilities will include:

Facilitation and Management:

  • Facilitate Program Management events (Program Increment Planning, System Demos, Continuous Improvement workshops)
  • Facilitate Delivery, Tech and Data events, activities, and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement through regular retrospectives, experimentation, and facilitating conversations for alignment with Product Management.

Program Flow and Value Management:

  • Manage and optimise the flow of value through the Program using Agile and Lean principles, while identifying, managing, and escalating impediments and risks.

Collaboration, Communication, and Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with product teams and other stakeholders to align priorities and objectives.
  • Act as a bridge between implementation and Product teams, ensuring a shared understanding of goals and vision.
  • Communicate Program status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and leadership, providing regular reporting and status updates.

Program Coordination and Dependency Management:

  • Manage dependencies within the Program across departments, teams, and stakeholders, while assisting in analysing and maturing agile delivery workflows.

Tool and System Maintenance:

  • Maintain and update systems and tools relevant to program management, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Agile SAFe Framework, with the ability to coach through influence as required.

The successful candidate

Here’s some of the things we’d like you to bring:

  • Proven ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, clarify priorities, and communicate complex information.
  • You can balance seeing the big picture, paying attention to detail, and understanding the commerciality around deadlines.
  • While this is not a Scrum Master role, demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Project Manager, or Release Train Engineer in an Agile environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills, both verbally and written, to proactively engage with stakeholders and report effectively.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean principles, processes, and practices.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile planning and tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in day-to-day Agile practices, including sprint planning, scrum ceremonies, backlog management, etc.
  • Capability to facilitate workshops and discussions across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying and addressing potential challenges in delivery processes and adapting to changes, managing risks and dependencies.
  • Commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Experience in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions, aligning backlog with program objectives and defining scope.
  • Skill in building and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is highly desirable.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is highly desirable.

What's in it for you?

  • We offer an attractive remuneration package + generous employee share schemes
  • We offer flexible working hours and work from home arrangements to balance your work and lifestyle
  • We have a vibrant culture and workspace in Adelaide and Sydney, to help you do great work
  • You'll be part of a company that's growing rapidly, building platform products customers love

Whilst all our job opportunities have specific criteria, if the above describes who you are but you don’t tick all of our boxes, we still encourage you to apply. If you have any questions, you can get in touch with Karam Singh at ***********@tiimely.com

Please let us know if you require any support or adjustments to be made to our hiring process, so that you can participate fully in our recruitment experience.

We’re proud to be recognised as a certified Great Place to Work and Best Places to Work for Women in Australia.
