AddressWelcome to the naval side of life! We are looking for Delivery Manager to join in our mission to create striking performance – the 9LV Combat System. Our products are used on marine platforms (platforms above and below the water surface) and have the task of compiling information from sensors, data links and weapon systems in order to give the operator the best opportunity to make the right decision.
Your Role
You will take part in a department that supports our projects from tender phase to final delivery of a ship as well as spare parts and units for repair. We provide support or full responsibility for Combat Systems civilian and military export-classified shippings. We work in all phases of a project, from tender phase, complete system delivery, delivery from subcontractor, spares and repairs shipment. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters career development and personal growth. With us, you will work with exciting technology in advanced and complex systems.
The role is multi-disciplinary and dynamic and your task will vary during the progress of the project. As a Delivery Manager, you will work in close cooperation with Project Managers, HW Engineers and Export Control department within Saab as well as working with representatives of the various sub-supplier organizations and shipyards. Your Profile
We believe that you have a solid background in logistics with an interest in technics. You are also a confident communicator in Swedish and English. You share information in a clear and easy way, verbally and in writing. You have a collaborative mind-set and you are a true team player. You are self-driven with a “get the job done” attitude. Curiosity and the ability to learn in new areas are necessary attributes for the role.
Required skills:
- Education in Logistics or equivalent experience in logistics
- Good knowledge of handling KS and PDA (Products with dual use)
- Knowledge in HS-code (Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System)
Desired skills:
- Experience in the naval domain and or defense industry
- DHL (SCI) tool (Transport request)
- Experience with IFS
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
