We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Delivery Manager to join our client's team on a 12-month initial contract, with the potential for extension. - Client-Side Project Management:
- Engage with clients and regional management to understand business needs and objectives.
- Develop detailed project scope of works and comprehensive project briefs.
- Engage and manage external contractors and consultants for various project tasks.
- Review design and tender documentation and evaluate fixed price quotes to ensure project feasibility.
- Collaborate with program managers on changes in project scope or budget, and confirm additional identified maintenance works.
- Oversee Project Delivery by liaising with onsite clients, external vendors, and property managers to ensure successful project execution.
- Project Management Tasks:
- Manage consultant and contractor engagements for various civil and maintenance projects, such as:
- Internal roadway replacements.
- Condition-based maintenance, including the replacement of entire building AC systems.
- Improvements to fire services systems.
- Energy efficiency projects, including solar panel installations, LED lighting upgrades, and AC system enhancements.
- Site master planning and asset plan development.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in property (office/industrial) related projects.
- Strong understanding of project scope development, contractor and consultant management, and budget control.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to review and interpret design and tender documentation.
- Experience with energy efficiency and condition-based maintenance projects is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experienced project management skills with a background in building systems and services, including civil, mechanical, or electrical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to balance client requirements with available program funding and compliance needs.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Previous experience working with local or state government in building project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred.
- Must hold current AUSTRALIAN working rights for at least the next 12 months and provide evidence as part of the application process.
