The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Delivery Manager – TLC Routine to join the Transmission Lines, Cables and Easement team at Transgrid. This position offers a fixed-term opportunity for 12 months..
The Delivery Manager – TLC Routine is accountable for establishing and completing the scheduled routine, inspections, and condition-based maintenance work programs. The program includes prescribed, customer and other external works allocated to the team. The role will be responsible for managing the program forecasts, cost reviews, program management risks to enable efficient execution of all works within the portfolio.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or, equivalent relevant experience,
- Sound knowledge, experience and understanding of electricity transmission maintenance programs and project delivery.
- Sound knowledge of transmission systems and associated customer, property, stakeholder and corporate requirements.
- Sound experience in systems, including performance reporting systems and maintenance ERP systems.
- Sound knowledge and experience in project management, asset management and maintenance management.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and allocate tasks to ensure work completed to corporate guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high volume workloads and decision making skills.
- Demonstrated experience in contract/agreement management and negotiation.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the design and refurbishment requirements of high voltage apparatus.
- Demonstrated business planning, management skills and business/commercial acumen.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant TransGrid policies and procedures and the ability to accurately interpret them to ensure compliance.
- Understanding of the need to manage confidential or sensitive information effectively.
- Sound interpersonal skills and people management experience that will facilitate positive working relationships with the team, stakeholders and peers.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Competent in the application of work health safety and other relevant safety legislation and policies relative to the duties of the position.
- Competent in the application of risk management methodologies.
