About the Role
The role will work across our Bega Group portfolio of brands including Farmers Union, Pura, Juice Brothers, Dare, Dairy Farmers and Yoplait just to name a few. Based in out Docklands office the successful candidate will collaborate with Sales, Customer Engagement and Supply Chain Planning teams to apply data insights and improve forecasting accuracy.
The Demand Planner will need to develop a 1-13 week consensus demand forecast. Look to creating and managing the true customer demand signals by which we align supply chain and company resources through the Sales and Operations Execution process (S&OE).
Other responsibilities:
- Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics
- Maintain demand planning systems to create accurate demand forecast that incorporates insights and trends
- Use the Demand KPIs for root cause analysis and to drive improvements in accuracy and bias
- Have a continuous improvement mindset and be keen to develop better ways of working through teamwork
About you
- Practical understanding of the Demand, Supply and S&OE disciplines
- Mathematical/statistical abilities
- Proficiency using technology tools that enable demand planning and reporting
- Degree qualified in appropriate discipline
- Strong communication skills with an ability to engage your audience through story telling
