About the roleWe have a permanent full time opportunity for an Analyst in our Demand Projects Team.You’ll be working across multiple teams to track and deliver Waterwise Programs Business Performance Measures against the Corporate Objective “Environmentally Sustainable as Climate Changes”. This is a key role accountable for data governance and evaluation.You’ll also be working closely with small teams of dedicated project managers on the design, delivery, and evaluation of water efficiency customer engagement projects to reduce water use, as well as presentation of insights for reporting to internal and external stakeholders.A career at Water Corporation can unlock the door to ongoing long term career development opportunities; we also support training and development, flexible work arrangements, health and lifestyle programs and generous company benefits.What the role will involve:· Monitoring and evaluation subject matter expert for water efficiency programs.· Data governance to ensure the integrity of the project data reported against Corporate Objectives.· Development and maintenance of dashboards to provide accurate and timely data analysis for progress tracking.· Identification and development of process improvements/automation to improve project delivery efficiency.· Scheduling and extraction of data extracts from corporate systems including SAP, Grange (GIA2) and PI.· Exploratory data analysis to provide high quality, accurate information and insights.· Preparation of complex data sets to support customer engagement activities.· Efficient delivery of data services through close collaboration with project managers and productive working relationships with key internal stakeholders.Key skills and experience:· Tertiary level qualification in a business related discipline.· Sound understanding of monitoring and evaluation techniques, with a good understanding of statistical analysis principles and practices. Demonstrated experience in this area is highly desirable.· Demonstrated experience with business intelligence (BI) tools, data analysis, and database management, including proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and SQL. Experience with PI, Python, M language is desirable.· Some experience with corporate data management systems such as SAP.
