Shangri-La Sydney is looking for a Part Time Demi Chef to join our Pastry Kitchen.
About the role
- Participates in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for the respective outlet.
- Participates in the creation of new menus and dishes.
- Prepares and ensures that all food is prepared and served according to the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney standards and procedures.
- Assists in ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
- Informs the Chef de Partie on repair and maintenance needs.
- Assists in maintaining the kitchen and other related areas in highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
About You
- Holder of Certificate III or IV
- Must have a valid full working rights
- Experience in a Hotel environment or similar
