About the Role
We are looking for a Demi Chef who has experience working in cold larder, hot entree and sound knowledge of Pastry service. This role will require working closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the Head Chef.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or within a fine dining environment
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in operating a large, high-end, kitchen.
- Able to lead a team with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to delegate tasks and follow up.
- WH&S & FSS - Sound knowledge & thorough understanding of compliance, kitchen safety.
- Immaculate presentation and advanced communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Able to collaborate on menu ideas.
- Passion for culinary excellence
- Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills
