Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to develop Work Method Statements;
- Assist with the development of Management Plans and other contractual deliverables;
- Assist in the preparation of internal and client weekly and monthly reports;
- Assist with the monthly progress claim preparation, including collation of supporting evidence;
- Be active in the field, observing demolition activities and tracking progress;
- Obtain quotes and issuing purchase orders for consumables or subcontractor packages;
- Review and update the MS Project, Contract program;
- Lead and mentor graduate engineers when required; and
- Ensure forecasts are up-to-date and accurate, including cash flow, accommodation, fuel and man hours.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years site experience on Demolition Projects;
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering or similar tertiary degree;
- Must have demolition experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience with computer programs: Microsoft Project and Office Suite;
- A strong safety focus with experience in the development and implementation of task specific WMS;
- Ability to prioritise tasks, and be deadline-driven.
The successful candidate must undergo full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening and Federal Police Check prior to employment.
