Looking for a full-time experienced Dental Assistant that has an interest in general dental chair side assisting with experience in surgical and paediatric assisting under general anaesthetic or have an interest in upskilling in these areas.
We are a small local established dental practice with a friendly welcoming team.
Essential skills are:
- Minimum Cert III Qualification
- Time management & punctuality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to work both independently and in a team
- Good organization skills and ability to take initiative
Tasks Include:
- Receiving and preparing patients
- Preparing, arranging and handling instruments and other dental requisites
- Using suction devices and water sprays
- Sterilising and preventing cross infection of equipment
- May perform reception, billing and other clerical tasks as required
