The Company
We are a dental specialist practice located at Charlestown.
We have a wonderful, spirited team consisting of our Principal Specialist, 2 Dental Hygienists, Practice Manager, Clinical Co-ordinator, 3 Dental Assistants and a Receptionist.
Due to the growth of our practice, we are now requiring another Dental Assistant to join our team.

You will be joining a young and dynamic team who are passionate about providing the highest quality specialist care.
Your New Role
You will be working Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. Salary is dependent on previous skills and knowledge.
Your duties and responsibilities will consist of the following:-
- Welcome patients and escort into treatment room
- Assist Principal and Dental Hygienists in clinical treatment
- Prepare and set-up treatment room for clinical procedures
- Accurate logging of detailed clinical records
- Communicate with administration staff to ensure daily efficiency of clinical appointments
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols
- Sterilise instruments and setting up trays
- Deliver oral hygiene and appliance care instruction
- Monitor stock and ordering of stock
Your Skills & Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:-
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant will be highly regarded but not essential as willing to train someone with a right ‘can do’, enthusiastic attitude and excellent work ethics
- You are passionate about providing an exceptional level of customer service
- Compassionate, empathetic and warm disposition
- A high standard of personal integrity – trustworthy, loyal and honest.
- A high standard of work ethic – self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in work.
- Able to work well independently, but also as part of a team.
- Have the ability to connect and interact with people of all ages, background and personalities
