Participation in the Employee Share Plan Flexible working arrangements and industry leading parental leave and family care policy ABOUT THE ROLE This role is a Permanent position that is DIDO daily, from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities. As Projects Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a selection of projects within the Worsley Capital Portfolio which are well-planned and cost-effective in delivering solutions that meet business requirements, through strong leadership and collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers. Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Ensure that all projects are developed and delivered from concept to closeout in accordance with the South32 project management framework; Single point project leadership in delivering projects to approved scope, timeframes and budgets Provide safety leadership throughout the project life cycle that is aligned to the South32 values; Ensure all project design and execution risks are identified and well managed ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Several years' experience in delivering projects of varying complexity and budget ($500k to $5M) throughout the full project lifecycle in a brownfields environment within the resources industry A sound technical knowledge and understanding of mining and resources projects Proven experience in developing and managing schedules and budgets & business financial evaluation Experienced with MS Suite and MS Project; Qualifications for this position are: Project management qualification Engineering or technical trade qualification within Electrical, Process or Mechanical disciplines highly South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
