Shree Dental & Implant Centre are looking for a highly motivated, Experienced or Trainee Full-Time Dental Assistant.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Experienced or Trainee Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental team to ensure the efficient operation of the practice and provide exceptional care to our patients. You will be a respected member of our team by all clinicians and staff, with growth opportunities, and we will value your input to help grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to our dentists/departments during appointments to ensure their full focus is on the patient.
- Maintaining a stocked and clean surgery room and reporting low stock to our ordering team.
- Monitoring lab work and ensuring timely delivery and retrieval of lab cases.
- Assisting the dentist in procedures and managing the sterilization bay to maintain infection control standards.
- Performing basic reception duties when required, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling inquiries.
- Taking notes during appointments and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.
- Utilizing computer skills for managing patient records, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
- Communicating effectively within the team to ensure a smooth flow of the day's schedule and patient care.
- Performing basic cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized practice environment.
- Understanding the importance of good customer service, communication, commitment, and flexibility in delivering exceptional patient care.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (no weekend work)
Job Type: Full time or part time.
Location: 9 Victoria Parade, Devonport, Tasmania, 7310.
Experience: Previous experience is preferred but not required.
