Dental Hygienist

Job Description

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Dental Hygienist to join our professional and friendly team on a Wednesday to help us provide outstanding dental treatment in a superb working environment.

Your role

• Work seamlessly with the Prosthodontist and support in reinforcing necessary diagnosed treatment with patients
• Treat a wide variety of patients, including those with complex oral rehabilitations. 
• Undertake radiographs where required
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
• Promote active maintenance
• Follow sterilisation and infection control procedures
• Make recall appointments and reactivation calls as required

The successful candidate will:

• Possess a high level of professional maturity and be able to work independently
• Have a commitment to excellence through assisting and educating patients in developing and maintaining good oral health
• Have excellent time management skills, excellent work ethic and demonstrated ability to take initiative
• Take responsibility for the success of the continuing care department
• Be reliable, punctual, enthusiastic, positive and well-presented
• Be willing to assist others where required and work as part of a team
• Be available to work on Wednesdays
• Possess a current AHPRA registration and valid professional indemnity insurance
• Have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a qualified Dental Hygienist
• Have a long-term commitment to this position. You will also need to be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
