I am looking for either:
1) Receptionist who will perform Dental Nurse duties at a New Dental Practice at the Fourways Plaza in West Mackay. The right candidate will be given a traineeship for Cert 3 in dental assisting after a trial period. No experience necessary.
2) Experienced and/or qualified Dental Nurses

Casual/Part time Position with future potential for Permanent Contract. Working in a small team that will grow over time.
Working hours will be 8am to 5pm Tues-Thurs. 8am- 1pm Friday. Subject to demand of services. There is potential for more hours.
Applicants will be expected to have a Professional attitude, confident in dealing with the public, confident with computers, a good work ethic and prompt time keeping, keen to work as a team and eager to learn.
It would be desirable if the applicant could present a history of working in a team, working with computers and working the public.
Pay will be determined by age and experience as per the Award Pay Guide released by the Australian Dental Association. Adult starting pay will be $29.96 for ordinary hours with no prior experience on a casual contract.

Brief description
- Meet and greet patients
- Appointment booking and management including phone and internet booking systems
- Taking phone calls
- Taking payments
- Managing documents including documents within Dental Software
- Follow up phone calls
- Help with sterilisation procedures
- Progression to Dental Assistant if not already trained
