Hawthorne Dental 34-38 Hours/week (can be Casual, Part-Time or Full-Time dependent on the applicant)
Saturday morning availability required.
Start date: Late June, Early July 2024
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable team player to join our dental team. Experience is preferred. However, we are open to providing excellent on-board training and support for the right newcomer to the dental industry.

Requirements and responsibilities
Whilst this role is predominantly a reception-based role, all our staff are expected to be fully trained and work competently in all areas of the practice including reception, chairside assisting, and sterilisation.
You will be required to demonstrate the following attributes:
• Confidently discuss treatment options with patients;
• Clear and confident communication/interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with care and understanding to patients and fellow staff;
• Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
• Prioritise and organise workloads;
• Adequately manage your time and use these skills to ensure the smooth running of the appointment book and all administrative responsibilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in following procedures and protocols.
Job Perks
The practice is nestled in the leafy suburb of Balmoral (neighbouring Morningside/Hawthorne/Bulimba) and provides easy access to the city and public transport. While experience or a background in dental care is preferred, it is not essential, and training and support will be provided.
Staff are paid above award rates and annual performance appraisals are routinely conducted.
