An exciting opportunity exists for the Dental Technician Advanced to provide operational leadership and management of the Caloundra Oral Health Laboratory team and co-ordinates dental technology services across multiple facilities to assist in the provision of efficient and effective dental technical oral health services for eligible patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Services (SCHHS).
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate and apply advanced knowledge relating to standard and complex dental technology services and advanced skills with fabricating, repairing and relining dental prostheses and appliances;
- Provide advanced level technical advice to SCHHS Oral Health colleagues, managers and other internal and external stakeholders as required
- Demonstrate ability to liaise and work co-operatively with all SCHHS Oral Health managers and employees; provide support for the Principal Dentist on dental technical laboratory matters and actively contribute to the Caloundra Oral Health management team
- Liaise and work co-operatively and effectively with other health professionals and patients and their families as required
Remuneration value up to $12 731 p.m., comprising salary between $4769.60 - $5132.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (temporary position available until December 2024).
